Around 800 classic vehicles will be on display at Himley Hall this weekend.
The Classic & Retro Show returns to the grounds of the stately home on Sunday September 1, courtesy of organisers Gemini Events.Hundreds of saloons, sports, American and commercial vehicles will be on static display, including a 1971 Morris Minor found in a barn and painstakingly restored from a bare shell.
There will also be military vehicles and classic motorcycles on display, as well as trade and autojumble stands.More than 35 motoring clubs from across the country will be represented by their members along with private owners, bringing along all manner of models from original cars in long-term family ownership to the lovingly rebuilt.
Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:
"We’re delighted to once again be hosting a collection of classic vehicles for residents to enjoy in the beautiful parkland around Himley Hall.
"Fans of family classics will be able to admire favourites from the likes of Austin, Triumph, Vauxhall, and Volkswagen.
"But the show will also feature a selection of more exotic marques including Lotus, Porsche, Maserati, and DeLorean.
"With vehicles on show ranging from the 1930s to the 1990s and beyond there is something for everyone. "
There will also be musical entertainment courtesy of Carrie-Anne, who will be performing a mixture of everything from the 40's and 50's through to the modern day hits with a vintage twist and dressed in the same glamorous style.
There will be awards for the best cars and club stands. A special prize giving ceremony takes place at the end of the show.
Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for children aged four to 16. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £20. Car parking is free, and dogs are allowed if kept on leads.
