Himley Hall is closed, the park is now open - please follow social distancing

Due the government advice concerning COVID-19 we have unfortunately had to close Himley Hall from 20 March until further notice.  Himley Hall park and grounds are now open. Please follow social distancing measures.

The Hall is contacting everyone regarding their private bookings, if you are yet to be contacted and are concerned please call 01384 817817 (the phone lines are currently being operated Monday – Friday 9am-5pm).

People will also be contacted regarding their bookings for Indulgent Afternoon Tea, with customers being offered a 12 month gift voucher.

The coffee lounge will also be closed until further notice. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our regular customers at the coffee lounge, and hope to see you again once the situation has resolved.

Update: Fishing will recommence at Himley Hall and park from 7am on Thursday 14th May 2020. Please note to ensure social distancing the number of pegs available have been reduced, so space will be limited. Syndicate members will be emailed further information, and further details will be communicated in due course.

Update 20/5/20 - Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member responsible for halls, said: “The very warm weather inevitably brings more people to Himley than usual and today we have seen numbers well above normal levels. As a result we were not able to accommodate the high number of cars and some had to be turned away. If people are visiting Himley, it is crucial that they follow social distancing rules and on occasions it is absolutely necessary to limit people coming into the park to make sure this happens. Thankfully people are generally following the expert advice when visiting Himley which allows us to keep this fantastic park open for everyone to enjoy.”

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
