Antiques fair returning to historic hall

People can pick up beautiful and unusual Christmas gifts at a winter antiques and collector fair at Himley Hall this weekend (Sunday 24 November).

The event, which runs from 9am to 4pm, follows the success of a summer and autumn fair at the hall earlier this year after a hiatus of nearly three decades.

The fair will once again offer people the opportunity to view and purchase antiques and collectables from over 50 stallholders.

Alan Lunt, deputy chief executive, said:

"Dudley Council is always encouraging people to shop locally with small businesses and this is the perfect opportunity for shoppers to pick up things that can’t be found online.
"As always the hall will be looking beautiful and visitors are welcome to take the chance to see the grounds and take a break in our welcoming coffee lounge. "

There is an entrance fee of £2 for adults and under 16s go in for free.

Paul Rowson of Antiques at Events said:

" We are amazed at how well these events have been received, the response from antique and collectable traders from around the UK has been so intense we have had to expand the fair for this Sunday into further rooms within the Hall to include the ballroom in the west wing.
"It is the last chance for the public to get unusual gifts for Christmas from the antiques fair at Himley but we are very much looking forward to expanding further at Himley throughout next year. "

More information can be found regarding the antiques and collectors fairs on Facebook by searching ‘Antiques at Himley’.

More fairs are planned for 2020 and a full list of dates will be issued in the New Year.
