Himley bonfire set to be out of this world

People who want to start November off with a bang can take advantage of a significant discount on Himley Bonfire and Fireworks tickets.

The legendary family friendly event is set to light up the night’s sky with music set to this year’s ‘To the Moon and Back’ theme on Saturday November 2.

Offering a spectacular pyrotechnic display, the Dudley Council organised event will celebrate 50 years since the Apollo 11 mission created history by being the first ever manned moon landing.

The advanced online ticketing means that people can take advantage of a discount off the gate price. Online, standard adult £10, standard child and senior citizen £5.50, family (two adults, two children) £24.

Following on from its popularity of last year, the event will offer a premium viewing area on the South Lawns near the hall with a private bar, gourmet food, a lit marquee, large screen with live entertainment and elevated views. An enhanced VIP ticket which includes access to hall is all available for £25.

VIP and premium tickets will be strictly limited and are only available online. Full details can be found at www.himleyhallandpark.co.uk/bonfire or facebook @HimleyHall

In addition there will be a unique night market as well as a giant funfair, Heart 100.7, live entertainment and seasonal refreshments.

Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:

"We are thrilled to be sharing the details of this year’s exciting Himley Bonfire, which will mark a huge moment in the history of mankind. People can take advantage of a considerable discount by booking their tickets online now.
"Our premium viewing area near the hall was hugely successful last year and is back by popular demanded. As there is a limited number of tickets we are encouraging people to order online now before they sell out. "

Gates open at 4.30pm, bonfire lit at 7.45pm and a 25 minute fireworks display is at 8.30pm.

Standard gate price tickets are £12 for adults, £7 for juniors and £30 for families.
