Himley Hall has established itself as one of the principal conference venues in the Midlands.

Discreet luxury created through sensitive restoration has created a restful yet stimulating environment in landscaped grounds, perfect for conferences, seminars and meetings.  Himley’s Conference Suite of 7 high specification, refurbished rooms offers accommodation for up to 150 persons in one room.

 

Combine this with the technology and comfort required in today’s demanding business world: fully accessible rooms and disabled facilities, full ‘in-house’ catering, ‘tailor-made’ conferences, free Wi-Fi access in all conference rooms, flexible room layouts and experienced conference support staff and you have the perfect conference venue.

 

Set amidst 180 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown parkland, Himley Hall offers a tranquil setting, yet is situated just 4 miles from Dudley and 6 miles from Wolverhampton. In Spring and Summer months the Hall is open to the public in the afternoon with a fascinating array of arts and crafts exhibitions, however privacy for your conference is ensured.

Rooms

Since 1995 Himley Hall’s exquisitely refurbished ground floor suite of rooms have offered elegant and sophisticated facilities for conference bookings.  Seven unique rooms, varying in size and capacity are available:

 

  • PEACH ROOMS - The Earl of Dudley’s former Ballroom, the Large and Small Peach rooms are linked by imposing internal double doors and overlook the South Wing lawns of the Hall.  Solid oak flooring complements the light, airy atmosphere.
  • PINK ROOM - Once the Hall Library the Pink Room has gentle views across the parkland towards the lake.
  • GREEN ROOM - Complete with its historic chandelier, the Green Room was previously the formal dining room of Himley Hall.
  • OAK ROOM - Overlooking the courtyard the Oak Room of Himley Hall and is the home of a magnificent 8ft high oak mantelpiece as befitted the original Billiard Room of the Earls of Dudley.
  • BROWN ROOM - Originally the small Drawing Room, the Brown Room has the best views of the Great Lake and is home to the Hall’s ‘Millennium chandelier’. The Brown Room is perfect for small meetings and seminars.
  • SWIMMING POOL ROOM - The former Swimming Pool has been transformed into an elegant Art-Deco style banqueting and conference suite.  It can cater for 90 guests for a seated meal and up to 150 delegates for a theatre style presentation.

FACILITIES

Full conference support is available:  Flipcharts, Powerpoint projector,  photocopying, message handling.  Free Wi-Fi access is available in all conference rooms

 

FLEXIBILITY

All of Himley's conference and meeting rooms can be arranged in a variety of layouts: theatre, boardroom, cabaret, closed and open boardroom style for meetings, dinner or informal reception style for product launches and other occasions.

Experienced conference staff are available to advise and assist in room layout and facilities required.

 

CATERING

A full in-house catering service is available at Himley Hall, offering a wide range of menus from simple buffets and refreshments to formal dinners. A full bar service is also available upon request.

 

CAR PARKING

Ample car parking is available at Himley, within the Hall courtyard and immediate surrounding for small parties and within the adjacent parkland for larger conferences. Assistance with car parking for larger bookings is free of charge.
